Strength
- Having Geography lab with 9 computers with Global Mapper Software and internet Connection.
- Big contribution of students in college Gathering, NSS Activities, College Magazine Contribution, etc.
- Good Number of Books in College library.
- Fully Qualified Faculty for UG.
Weaknesses
- Less no. of students’ Participation from rural area in dept. events due to time inconveniency.
- Women’s College, hence limitations to stay on campus for long time.
- Lack of Separate ICT class for organizing lectures and events.
Opportunities
- Adaption of new tools such as GIS, GPS, Remote Sensing and Ariel Photography etc..
- Use of Surveying method and Practical Methodology
Threats/Challenges
- Shirpur is a tiny town having three arts colleges, hence student strength is distributed.
- The students are from remote tribal areas, they are unable participate events such as tours, projects, they cannot afford stationary.

- To Organize various programmes in department to motivate students for competitive examination.
